BLACKERBY, GARY, age 63 of Tuscaloosa,
was called home April 28, 2006. He worked as a Coal
Washer Superintendent at Jim Walters and Black
Diamond. He started Blackerby Trucking Company and
later retired. He was preceded in death by his mother,
Ida Mae Blackerby. He was a loving husband, father and
grandfather. We love you and will miss you. He is
survived by his wife, Peggy Jo Blackerby; daughter,
Cindy (Mike) Burchfield; sons, Neil (Monica) Blackerby,
Jeff (Tammy) Blackerby and Erik (Chris) Blackerby;
sister, Glenda (Alan) Smith; brothers, Conrad
(Barbara) Blackerby and Rodney (Brenda) Blackerby;
father, Glendon Blackerby; grandchildren, Paula (Tom)
Jennings, Laura (Chris) Golden, Cheneil (Chad) Bailey,
Josh Blackerby, Lacey Blackerby, Tyler Blackerby,
Taylor Blackerby, Bentley, Karah and Kallie Jones; and
great grandson, Brodie Golden. Funeral Services will
be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory
Chapel with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Bro.
Travis Criss officiating. Visitation will be held May
1, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memory Chapel . Memory
Chapel Funeral Home directing.
