| Carried
the B'ham News and Age Herold starting at age 13. Worked at
TCI Tin Mill, Electrolytic Tinning Dept. until July 1952 then
went to Savannah River Plant, DuPont for 34 1/2 years,
retiring on Dec 31st 1986. Read a lot and have a library of
over 3,000 books, non fiction. Heavy on world history, WW2,
States War, ancient history. (Miss Riley would swoon over my
books). Also into technical electronics, mechanics. Have a
Jet-Ski boat and ride a bicycle a lot. Recently restored a
1940s Zenith radio with short wave back to like new condition,
for a friend. Have traveled Europe and also spent 6 weeks
exploring the back country of Panama. That picture of me was
made in 2001, I am 3 years older than that now. |
